At Art Dubai Modern 2014 we exhibited important minimalist sculptures and drawings from the 1960s and 70s by Rasheed Araeen. This coincided with the retrospective of his work at the Sharjah Arts Foundation, curated by Hoor Al-Qasimi.
This was the first major exhibition of the artist's work in the MENASA region, and included seminal sculptures, early paintings and drawings as well as a new sculpture specially commissioned for Sharjah.
