Mark is a leading artist of his generation managing to create powerful contemporary images whilst also making references to literature, mythology and history. Twilight and the Unseen will be his seventh solo exhibition and will comprise of twenty-three oils and fifty-two drawings.
Mark’s exhibiting history is a testament to the quality of his work. Mark enjoys a very strong following in Britain and Ireland. His works are in such collections as the National Gallery of Ireland and the Arts Council for Northern Ireland and next year will mark ten years of exhibiting at the Grosvenor Gallery in London. However, his international standing has been on the rise with this his second show in Germany, as well as two consecutive years of exhibiting with Galerie Brusberg at Art Basel in Switzerland.
