This work was acquired by Ronald Brend from Alfie’s Antique market in Paddington, London. One morning he spotted it in the window of a shop and it caught his eye....
This work was acquired by Ronald Brend from Alfie’s Antique market in Paddington, London. One morning he spotted it in the window of a shop and it caught his eye. He was then working as a sports therapist or a masseur and lived in Paddington, so bought it and took it home. After leaving London they moved to Bude and later to Instow on the north coast of Devon, where Ronald had grown up where he and had his first job working on the trains. The work travelled with them and was always at the centre of their house.
